What a wonderful week of Christmas celebrations in the school. Those of us that attended the KS1 Christmas Performance ‘Children of the World’, experienced an afternoon of beautiful singing, fabulous acting and colourful costumes; we had children from Australia, America, Malawi, China and Ireland combined with nativity characters. All in all, a wonderful event.
Next week it’s the turn of the children in KS2 who have been practising hard in the church this week. The candlelit performance will begin at 6pm. The kind donations you have made for the tickets will go to the Encephalitis Society.
On Tuesday 16th December we will be holding an open afternoon for parents and their children who are due to start school in September 2015. We would like to offer them a cup of tea or coffee on their arrival - if there are any of you out there who are free next Tuesday and would be willing to serve refreshments, please let me know.
On Wednesday 17th December we are having our Christmas lunch. All staff will be joining the children to share in the festive fun.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend.
