Week Ending: 22/09/17

Whole School Attendance: 95.83%.

Dear Parents/Carers,

A very Happy New Year to you all!  I hope that you all had an enjoyable Christmas and a big thank you for all our wonderful cards and presents.

2017 is off to a flying start with Year 2 having drama lessons this term, which will culminate in a performance for parents/carers to attend – date to be confirmed. Gymnastics for Year 1 will be starting next Monday and dance for Years 3 and 4 on Thursdays; please ensure that children have their PE kits in school.  Other competitive events are being organised.

The children all look very smart today, thank you for continuing to send them in the correct school uniform – please can I remind you that girls should only be wearing black bows, scrunchies or hairbands not large diamante bows.  If the weather is bad children can wear boots to school but must bring in a pair of school shoes to change into.

Letters regarding clubs will be sent out today, please complete and return as quickly as possible as the clubs will resume next week.

Year 6 have their class assembly on Friday 20th January and Year 1 on Friday 10th February both at 2.40pm – entrance via the courtyard please.

We are continuing to invite parents/carers/grandparents to join us for our collective worship first thing on a Monday morning at 9.10am.  Parents are welcome to drop their children off at school as soon as the gates are supervised and then wander up to the church for a cup of coffee and a biscuit prior to our arrival.  The planned dates are listed below.
