St Michael’s Church of England Primary is situated in the beautiful Wealden village of St Michael’s just on the outskirts of Tenterden. The original building is over 150 years old, and although other buildings have been added to it over the years, it still retains that quintessential Victorian village school feel about it. Standing proudly next to the church of St Michael’s and All Angels, together they form part of the thriving community that makes St Michael’s so unique.
Our school is a Church of England voluntary controlled school, which means the school is owned by the Church; the Church appoints our governors, but there is no Church majority on the governing body. All staff are employed by the local authority that also fund repairs and capital projects within the school.
